Hungry for God Home
“Rescuing and redirecting the lives of the fatherless”. Housing since the year 2000 over 700 young men 17-21 years of age. Upon entering the home many find a listening ear and a peace and healing that is much needed.
First 30 days: After a needs accessment and short term and long range goals are discussed together a plan of action is drawn up. Spiritual life is a priority and from the first 30 days a diving into the plan and purpose God has created and desires of us is emphasized. Educational needs as well as immediate health needs and life skills are planned out. An assignment to a mentor, a career path coach, a case worker or a job placement apprentist will come into place after a required financial course is completed.
